On Saturday, March 1st, people from all over the Phoenix area will come to Tempe Town Lake for the 26th Annual Great Arizona Beer Festival. Attendees can expect over 200 brews from more than 50 breweries, each sampling their proudest brewing achievements.
A $45 general admission voucher includes one sample cup and 24 tickets to exchange for beer samples. Live music will also be provided by acoustic rock musician Tommy Anderson, and local band “The Crown Kings.” This locally organized fund raising event, supports Sun Sounds of Arizona, a non-profit radio reading service helping people in Arizona with print disabilities.
If you are unable to attend the festival, head to Harry's Place and taste great local beers from Four Peaks Brewing Company and San Tan Brewing Company. Harry’s Place at Tempe Mission Palms is open Monday through Friday, 2pm – midnight, Saturday, 11am – midnight, and Sunday, 11am - midnight.
