Tempe Mission Palms and its associates are proud to support many wonderful local and national charities throughout the year. During the month of October, guests can purchase a glass of One Hope Chardonnay at Harry’s Place, and half the profits from this purchase go toward the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Harry’s Place, located in the Tempe Mission Palms west lobby, has a brand new menu with great offerings such as Prime Rib Sliders and Shrimp Scampi, which pair perfectly with the One Hope Chardonnay.
Tempe Mission Palms is especially proud of two of our sales team members, Debra Miles and Debbie Moon-Grady. They are participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk in November, where they walk 60 miles in three days raising money for breast cancer research. Tempe Mission Palms also has a community outreach program that finds opportunities to give back to the community by participating in fundraisers and raising money for local organizations. All associates are encouraged to participate in at least one activity throughout the year, and it provides a great team building experience.
Working together to support local charitable organizations is a fantastic way to not only give back to the community, but is also a perfect way to bring a team together. Many groups that meet at Tempe Mission Palms do team-building exercises such as building a bicycle and then donating it to charity, or scavenger hunts where the final clue is a donation to a food bank.
